I recently took a group of 22 teenagers plus staff to the LSAC for a 1 night camp-out. The whole experience was smooth and fun! It’s easy to book and update the booking (eg I added the storm but when rain was due) and the facilities are brilliant! Thanks so much, George and team!

Lots of activities here for youth groups. The months of constant rain made the paths quite muddy but we had come prepared. Activities were fun.

Came here for a scout camp weekend. I had a small group of 14 squirrels with me and we stayed inside the centre. Before arriving it is worth noting there are 2 entrances. Instead of going left where it actually says Leslie Sell centre - go straight on the dirt track with the field on the right. It will take you all the way to the residental area.
Inside the building it is clean, has access for special needs and spacious. it has most of the mod cons you would expect eg. flat screen tv, kitchen and wash facilities AND when the lights are off there are green lights which don't really keep you awake but lights up the room when dark which was super helpful for the young children.
The things I didn't like so much was how heavy the fire doors were. For small children (squirrel age 4-6) they really struggled with them thankfully they were soft closing so they didn't slam, however, they need to be in pairs to use the bathrooms because the doors were so stiff.
All in all a fantastic adventure and would go back again.

We've just come back from Beaver, cub and scout camp here and the facilities were fantastic. We did archery, bouldering, caving and a campfire. The indoor accommodation was outstanding with a big hall and well equipped kitchen

Visited to pick up my daughter after DOE week what I saw of the buildings and the surrounding arwas of the camp looked really well equipped. Was very clean and tidy ..only reason not a 5 is simply because I didnt go inside the main building however judging a book by its cover i would imagine its excellent.

A great campsite. We had 3 families for a family camp. We took part in the crate stacking and the archery activities. Great experience for adults and children.
The staff were friendly and very helpful all weekend.
Lots of local amenities nearby if you need any last minute supplies or fancy a bit of fast food.
They are making improvements to the site which will make it even better in the future.

Great campsite for all Scout sections. Lots of activities for a smaller site from air rifle shooting to caving. Field very easy to get tent pegs into. Highly recommended :)
